Description
DENIME Lot 220A (OFFSET XX MODEL) by Warehouse & Co.
A new chapter begins in the denim legacy of DENIME. This project revives the iconic XX model from DENIME’s founding year in 1988, now refined with WAREHOUSE’s superior craftsmanship and technical innovations.
Fabric
This fabric is a faithful recreation of the original DENIME XX denim. Developed in collaboration with Kurabo Mills, the fabric uses the same U.S.-grown cotton and slubby ring-spun yarns as the original. Rope-dyed in a proprietary indigo shade and finished with botanical dyeing, the result is a rich, uniquely DENIME color tone. WAREHOUSE’s special scouring process using cold water before dyeing ensures deeper color penetration with sharp contrast in the yarn’s white core. The vintage GL3 shuttle loom captures the slubby texture of the yarns perfectly in the weave.
Silhouette
This model reflects DENIME’s classic XX fit. While maintaining the original silhouette through the thigh, knee, and hem, the waist area has been updated for a better fit. The design now accommodates shrink-to-fit wear while enhancing ease of wear and maintaining a beautifully clean straight shape.
Details
Buttons and rivets have been refined in both material and form. The shape of the back pockets stays true to the original, and hidden rivets and triangular bar tacks remain as they were in the original model. Belt loops, sewn with a curved line from the center, were once a signature visual cue of DENIME jeans. The leather patch is attached in a historically accurate manner—first tacked with the waistband stitching, then secured with a final rectangular stitch. This product blends DENIME’s originality with WAREHOUSE’s dedication to detail, representing the pinnacle of Japanese denim craftsmanship.
