Evisu is easily identified by its historical design changes. Early 1990s pieces feature fisherman leather patches, SCOVILL hardware and the rare “EVIS” tab without the U. By the late 1990s the brand shifted to the Godhead patch and updated “EVISU” tab, followed later by the Evisu International line. These details make early-era Evisu some of the most collectible Japanese denim today.
