13.75oz selvedge denim
The history of jeans in Japan started in the late 60s. in the late 60s. Until then, denim fabric was imported from the USA. It is said that the first denim fabric made in Japan was made by modifying the loom of Bitchu Kokuraori in Ibara City, Okayama. At that time, the rope dyeing technique was not so good, and the yarn count and the balance of warp and weft yarns were far different from the modern technique, but the atmosphere was exceptional. This 13.75oz selvedge denim is a reproduction of that first Japan-made denim fabric on a modern loom.
Vintage look and feel
13.75oz selvedge denim with a natural look and feel and a good thickness. The colouring is pure and blue, just like the time when denim was first produced in Japan. The unevenness and the natural look of the denim give it a “vintage” feel, which is not found in most denim fabrics today. The more you wear it, the more it will sag and the more it will look like vintage.
Stress-free fit
The wide, loose-fitting fit of the FOB FACTORY is more comfortable than the traditional wide, loose-fitting fit. The waist and hip area is slightly narrower than the traditional wide and loose image, so you can wear the wide silhouette beautifully without feeling uncomfortable. The depth of the crotch is well-balanced, so you will not feel stressed. The thickness of the fabric is neither too thick nor too thin, so you can wear it all year round.
Following vintage details
The front is easy to put on and take off. Zip fly and donut buttons. The copper rivets are traditional, with the distinctive red Selvig ears, reminiscent of the XX, which can also be seen on the back of the coin pocket. At the back, a white flasher made of Dupont Tyvek can be removed by cutting the stitching.
