Vintage DENIME jeans in great condition.
Lot. XX — Orizzonti era. Made in Japan.

DENIME’s XX-type is its reading of the pre-1966 Levi’s 501XX, and this pair is from the Orizzonti era — the years up to 2005, when the jeans were produced under Orizzonti and the cloth is widely held to have been at its best. The denim is a 14.5oz selvedge that fades fast and openly, which is what made DENIME the way a lot of people first understood what vintage American denim was supposed to look like. Founder Yoshiyuki Hayashi left the brand after this period and went on to found RESOLUTE. The leather patch is stamped “P450”, which carries no meaning.
