A distinctive denim brand with many especially enthusiastic fans among denim heads. The brand name “bridge” reflects Shingo’s desire that “this denim will be a bridge to someone or something.” Shingo became fascinated with the fading of jeans when he was inspired by a magazine feature on the fading of jeans and bought a pair of “Lee 200”, which faded to a beautiful blue. From this point on, he began to study fading more deeply than anyone else, and through repeated trial and error, he checked everything with his own eyes—from the fabric that makes up the jeans, to the leather patches, buttons, rivets, and even the type and thickness of the thread—to create jeans that do not allow for compromise. He is also particular about the leather patches used on his jeans, and uses a high-quality leather called “Minerva Liscio” that is not used for ordinary jeans. This leather changes over time due to light, so when shipping new products, we cover them with a light-shielding cloth. Shingo not only makes jeans, but also holds exhibitions of jeans that he has faded himself all over Japan, and continues to work as a bridge with denim in line with the brand concept. This activity has been featured in many magazines. This denim brand is the only one with a different concept from many brands that reproduce jeans.
