WAREHOUSE & CO. THE BILLIKEN MAN W33 x L29

130,00

Used Japanese selvedge jeans from WAREHOUSE & CO.
This pair is the limited collaboration model “THE BILLIKEN MAN,” released around 2011 in collaboration with Billiken, the iconic mascot of Osaka’s Tsutenkaku Tower, known as the “God of Happiness.”

Crafted from the same 14oz slubby selvedge denim used in WAREHOUSE’s legendary 1001XX model, the fabric has a gritty, uneven texture and is known for developing strong, high-contrast fading over time.
Unique details include arc stitching shaped like Billiken’s smiling face and a hidden embroidery of Billiken’s soles inside the right back pocket—carrying the charm of good luck wherever you go.

The Legend of Billiken
The Billiken is a charm doll created in 1908 by American artist Florence Pretz, who envisioned him as a “God of Happiness.” While he originated in the U.S., he has become an iconic, indispensable mascot in Japan, famously enshrined at the Tsutenkaku Tower in Osaka.
