Condition

This is an official BIG JOHN “SECOND CLASS / IRREGULAR” item — unworn, unwashed deadstock raw denim, graded out of the standard line by the maker for a minor cosmetic reason (fabric/dye unevenness, slubs, or similar). The exact flaw is not specified by the maker, and in my own inspection I could not visually detect any clear defect from any angle. Any such mark is purely aesthetic and does NOT affect wear, fit, or durability (guaranteed by the maker’s label).

4. Asia — Indian organic cotton (fine, soft, rich in natural oils)
5. Africa — Tanzanian organic cotton (moderately stiff, full-bodied)

Plus 5% OCS-certified recycled organic cotton for a unique vintage texture.
