The EDWIN New Vintage series was launched in 1994, starting with the introduction of the EDWIN 505. It was developed to faithfully recreate the charm of vintage jeans using modern Japanese craftsmanship. Production of this original version was discontinued by the early 2000s. In 2023, to mark the 30th anniversary of the EDWIN 505, a new updated version was released. But the new versions differ significantly in detailing.
