KNUCKLE HEAD was the original flagship brand of a specialized biker/Americana shop in Kichijoji, Tokyo, operated by Yamaya Industrial during the 2000s and 2010s. Known for using premium heavy-weight denim from Kojima, Okayama, its design heritage was later passed to the Yokohama-based shop HEATH after the Kichijoji store closed in the mid-2010s. This legacy continues through HEATH’s sister brands, KNACKERED and BLUE PORT. As the direct predecessor to these labels, original KNUCKLE HEAD pieces are now rare archival garments representing Japanese indie denim craftsmanship at its peak.
