UCHIDA HOUSEI is a Japanese company based in Tsuyama, Okayama Prefecture, specializing in high-quality jeans manufacturing. Founded in 1969 by Tadashi Uchida, it was officially established as Uchida Sewing Co., Ltd. in 1982. The brand is renowned for its focus on craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. UCHIDA HOUSEI launched its factory brand in September 2016 and has received notable recognition, including being listed as one of the “300 companies that will take off” by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry in 2019 and “100 textile industry companies that will lead the next generation” in 2023. The company also achieved a record as the top jeans department in Japan and the Chugoku-Shikoku region through crowdfunding in May 2022.
