Return and Refund Policy

Your Right of Withdrawal (EU consumers)

If you are a consumer in the EU, you may withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of the day you (or a third party you name) take physical possession of the goods, without giving any reason. To do so, send us a clear statement of that decision by email to info@mtkn.nl before the 14-day period expires.

If you withdraw, we refund all payments we received from you, including the standard delivery cost of your original order. If you chose a delivery method more expensive than our cheapest standard option, we refund the amount of that cheapest standard option. We issue the refund without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we receive the goods back or your proof of dispatch, using the same means of payment you used, at no charge to you.

You bear the direct cost of returning the goods. We may reduce the refund to reflect any diminished value if you have handled the goods beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised. At MTKN this means items we have hemmed or otherwise altered for you.

The conditions described below are a goodwill service offered in addition to this statutory right. They do not limit or replace it.

Return Conditions

• New Items: Must be in original, brand-new condition (unwashed, with all tags attached, tried on only). Items that have been hemmed or customized cannot be returned.
• Used Items: We accept returns for used items if the size does not fit. However, they must be returned in the same condition as when you received them.
• Time Limit: Please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order.

Shipping Costs for Returns

The cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.

• Where you exercise your statutory right of withdrawal, the standard delivery cost of your original order is refunded (see above). For voluntary returns or exchanges made outside the 14-day withdrawal period, the original delivery cost is not refunded.
• We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping service. We cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.
• All returns must be sent to our location in Amsterdam.

How to Return

1. Contact Us: Email us or use the Contact Form within 14 days of delivery. Please include your order number and the reason for the return.
2. Approval: We will provide you with the return shipping address in Amsterdam and further instructions.
3. Ship the Item: Pack the item securely and ship it back to us using a tracked service.
4. Refund: Once we receive and inspect the item, we will process your refund (including the original standard delivery cost where you exercised your right of withdrawal) within 5 business days.
